Putting You Back In Control Of Your Skin: Understanding Your Problem Areas & How To Tackle Them

Our faces reflect the lives that we lead, the experiences that we have and all those laughs that have made our days so enjoyable. Each of us ages in our unique way, and our skin is a reflection of that process – whether we like it or not. Although there’s nothing wrong with wrinkles, age spots or loss of firmness, there’s no doubt that we feel our best when our complexions are looking their best too. I’m all for embracing the ageing process, but I’m also incredibly conscious of looking after my skin and ensuring it remains as firm, plump and radiant as possible for as long as I can manage; that’s where a hardworking regime of skincare comes in, offering a little helping hand along the way. It’s no surprise that my regime is a finely tuned one, with every product and step having a very specific purpose, thanks to over a decade working in the industry and getting to grips with some of the most advanced technology and science our beauty world has to offer. But I know I’m not the norm.

My objective with this site has always been to inform, educate, break down barriers and battle misconceptions – because knowledge is power when it comes to your skin. With so many complex names, falsified claims and confusing explanations doing the rounds, its no wonder many of you are still getting in a tizz when it comes to your skincare regime, crying out for something simplified and easy to navigate. Well hoorah, because No7 have just launched the ‘No7 Face Study‘ to help you in just that way! A unique and innovative way of looking at the skin, the ‘No7 Face Study’ online portal allows you to navigate around different areas of the face in order to gain from guidance and expertise in relation to specific issues which affect our complexions as we age. If you’ve ever spent ages looking in the mirror and over-analysing every wrinkle, patch of pigmentation or slightly drooping jaw line, then this is definitely for you – albeit on someone else’s face!

The ‘No7 Face Study‘ allows you to zoom in on problem areas and get to grips with the science behind the changes you may be seeing, providing simplified explanations and even the ability to pinpoint your own concerns; the result of which is a comprehensive recommendation of products, backed up by clinical data and more science, so you can see it’s not all mumbo jumbo. It’s undoubtedly the most comprehensive, useful and information filled skin platform I’ve ever seen – and I’ve no doubt it will help a huge number of women understand the changes their seeing, providing them with the tools they need to make a difference if they so wish.

Personally speaking my main concerns are without a doubt my
under eyes and my jawline; these are the two areas I’ve noticed the most
visible change in the last five years, and where I’m conscious of those
changes. I’m making a concerted effort to use the right products both
morning and night to keep my skin looking plump and smooth, and to
ensure they don’t progress any quicker than they absolutely have to.
Although I’m sure in ten or twenty years time I’ll be past the point of
caring, for me in my mid-thirties and still trying to cling on to my
youth for as long as possible, I’m all about anything that can give me a
helping hand. After a (far too long) play around with the ‘No7 Face Study‘ my recommended hero was the No7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum
(£27.00) which is clinically proven to help reduce the appearance of
lines, wrinkles and crows feet, as well as helping to boost plumpness
and radiance… (Spoiler alert, I’ve used it off and on since it
launched and it’s definitely one of my faves. It’s good to know I’m
using the right treatment for my needs though, providing a touch of
reassurance for even the most well informed among us!)

are put under increasing amounts of pressure to be perfect, ‘turn back
the clock’ or look like a supermodel contoured their face 24/7, but
realistically we’re all just trying our best to navigate a confusing and
demanding world. With a tonne of lotions and potions clogging up
bathrooms across the country, I’m a firm believer in stripping
everything back so to really understand what your problem areas are and
how to tackle them. You don’t need 27 serums or 15 different night
creams, but instead a simplified and effective regime based on evidence
that it works. This handy tool ensures that’s possible, while learning a
little something along the way…

Share it far and share it wide, because it’s a game changer.

The ‘No7 Face Study’ online portal is LIVE NOW HERE and is totally free to use. Make sure you send the link around to all your mates, your mum, your nan and even to your work colleagues – beauty is about empowering us all to have the knowledge to boost our confidence.

You can shop all the No7 skincare range here.

This is a sponsored feature in partnership with No7; all opinions are my own.
It’s still a blooming brilliant tool and I would thoroughly recommend everyone check it out.

Hi Hayley, I enjoy your blog but I'm a bit concerned with your comment "Although I'm sure in ten or twenty years time I'll be past the point of caring". I'm 57 and I still care very much. I know I will never look like I did in my 30s and I don't want to but I still love my beauty routines, it's my "me time". Adele N

Hi Adele. No reason to be concerned about someone's individual thoughts or predictions; just because I think in 10 or 20 years I won't care about a wrinkle or ten doesn't mean you can't think the opposite.

Hi Hayley, I obviously read that the wrong way. It seemed to me you were saying you wouldn't care at all !! Apologies. Adele
