Fabulous Christmas Treats For Ladies That Love A Bit Of Pampering (That You’ll Want Too!)

How many of your loved ones struggle to take time for a bit of pampering or ‘me time’, especially around the festive season? If they’re anything like my relatives, they spend too much time making the holidays perfect for everyone else and forget to look after their own bodies and minds. Is there someone in your life that either loves a bit of beautifying, or loves the idea but never finds the time or inclination? Wouldn’t it be lovely if your gift was so much more than just another bath bomb or pair of socks – and instead provided them with an opportunity to chillax, pamper themselves and feel good? I’ve found some amazing treats that are perfect for those of us that love indulging in our beauty regimes, glitter and sparkle optional. Warning: you may find yourself wanting them all too.

1. Oliver Bonas Gin & Tonic Candle (£12.00)

Who doesn’t want a candle that smells of G&T?! Surprisingly fresh and more limey than full of alcohol, this candle looks as great as it smells. It’s a pocket-sized way to brighten a room or help you get in the mood for some serious pampering – plus an excuse to crack open the Bombay Sapphire.

2. Sanctuary Spa ‘Surprise & Enjoy’ Crackers (£10.00)

I adore the geometric design of these beauty crackers, which each contain either a body wash or lotion. They work beautifully as one gift, or you can break them up and give them to your fave people over Christmas lunch; either way, for a tenner you can’t really go wrong.

3. Tweezerman ‘All That Glitters’ Set (£29.50)

You can never have too many pairs of tweezers, and especially when they look like this. The statement gold glitter design makes them perfectly festive, but the tool itself is the same we know and love; you can’t really get better than a Tweezerman tweezer – I’ve been using them for over a decade and they’ve never done me wrong. (Yes, these are already on my dressing table!) Think of this as the gift that keeps on giving smiles all year long.

4. Bare Minerals Chandelight Glow Luminous Rose Gold Illuminator (£30.00)

Oh my, this is one gift you may end up wanting to keep for yourself. Exclusive to QVC, this creamy highlighter glides over skin to provide a beautifully luminous finish that dries like a powder without caking. I fell in love as soon as I tried it, so I really hope they bring this out as a permanent fixture in 2017. The texture is beautiful and the result is stunning, made even better by the rose gold packaging and angled applicator brush that accompanies it. J’adore.

5. Scholl Velvet Smooth Luxury Purple Pedi Gift Set (£42.00)

I couldn’t be without my Velvet Smooth to get rid of dry and rough skin on my feet. It’s not glamorous, but it’s incredibly effective and the only thing I’ve regularly used to prep my tootsies for the past few years; I got one for my mum and she’s as obsessed as me. What’s brilliant is that Scholl have managed to make a very functional and rather embarrassing product seem aspirational and glam – and all it took was a little bit of purple glitter. This limited edition version comes with a red nail polish and cuticle oil (plus the handle is a super special design) to take you from bleugh to YEAH with ease.

6. Kiehl’s Creme De Corps Limited Edition Trio (£27.00)

This cult classic body cream has had a designer makeover for Christmas, making these three mini pots all the more covetable. The special box contains three gorgeous scents all in the beautifully whipped texture; Lavender, Grapefruit and classic Soy Milk & Honey. They’re perfect for traveling, great as a treat for those that love the Creme De Corps already, or a fab introduction to a brand that seems to be smashing it this Christmas.
