Another Level Of Lustworthy: By Terry’s ZigZag Sun Designer Palettes

Whether you can afford or justify £64.00 on a makeup palette is neither here nor there, because this post has been purely created to offer a moment of lust on an otherwise dull day. If you don’t know much about By Terry as a brand, then you may be interested to know that the founder (Terry De Gunzburg) actually created the world’s best selling beauty product: YSL Touche Eclat. That alone cements her as a woman who knows what she’s talking about, but it’s also worth noting that her products are created with the utmost care, attention and passion. She uses groundbreaking ingredients and creates products born from a genuine need or desire, even if they do command an eye-watering price tag. I personally haven’t tried a huge amount from the brand, but these stunning summer palettes instantly appealed to my inner makeup maven and had me lusting from the very first peek. Designed to offer a combination of blush, highlight and bronzing shades that can be used individually or in unison, the palettes offer something truly unique and incredibly covetable.

The zigzag design within the palette is continued on the packaging, taking its inspiration from Egyptian landscape and design. Although this makes the individual shades tricky to use alone, when used with a fluffy brush and swirled over the surface, you’re provided with a beautiful multi-dimensional colour that looks natural and enhances the complexion with ease. What’s refreshing is the complete wearability of the shades (yes, even that bright coral one) because of the lightweight nature of the texture. With a subtle shimmer running throughout, these catch the light beautifully without it looking like you’re contoured within an inch of a Kardashian. I adore the peachy and golden shimmers from the ‘Light & Tan Vibes’, but also love the bright and bold blushers from ‘Tan & Flash Cruise’; it’s a shame you can’t combine your favourites to make your own personalised palette! (Maybe an idea for next summer Terry?) Although I can’t imagine there will be a flurry of you stampeding to Space NK to hand over your cash, it is definitely worth having a swatch and a dream over these the next time you’re in store.

The By Terry Sun Designer Palettes are available in two shades, exclusively via Space NK, priced £64.00 each.

I don't think I could ever justify spending so much on a single product, but the packaging and deign inside is just beautiful nonetheless!Philippa x

They're very expensive, but if you've got a voucher or are feeling spendy they're a great one to splurge on.
