One of my favourite things about Christmas is sitting down in front of the tree, mince pies on a plate, and wrapping up all the gifts I’ve bought for loved ones. I get more excited about my wrapping paper of choice than I sometimes do about the gifts themselves (Paperchase and their sprout collection is a personal fave,) but I know many others struggle. If you’re not particularly skilled when it comes to the art of sellotape, then you may be pleased to know there are a whole selection of gifts available that require no wrapping whatsoever. It’s not technically cheating when the packs are more beautiful than any Santa-adorned paper could ever be; all you need is a little sticky bow and a hand-written label, then you’re good to go. Here are five of my favourite pre-wrapped gifts for a lazy approach to the festive period… Without giving the game away.

1. Liz Earle ‘Supercharged Skin Gift’ (£12.00)
Including a 15ml sample of the classic Superskin Moisturizer, this pre-wrapped box is absolutely delightful – after all, only the best things come in little mint green packages. Although the contents are a bit stingey for the price, there’s no reason why you can’t add in a little chocolate or lipbalm to bulk it out a bit. They also offer nail varnish alternatives if the recipient is more of a polish girl, but the beauty is definitely in the box.

2. Burt’s Bees ‘Uncap Flavour’ Lipbalm Set (£14.99)
Including five individual flavours (Honey, Wild Cherry, Pomegranate, Vanilla Bean and the original Beeswax lip balm,) this tube holds the secret to hydrated and well cared for lips. Infused with nourishing, conditioning and hydrating ingredients, the 100% natural formulas deliver intense moisture to reveal silky soft, smooth and rejuvenated lips all day long. I’m addicted. I love this tube that’s reminiscent of childhood sweets, plus it’s a great price point – you even save a few quid off the individual lip balm price.

3. Laura Mercier ‘Kiss Of Colour’ (£32.00)
One of the best brands to turn to this Christmas is Laura Mercier, as all their gifts are packed in this luxurious metallic animal print which adds a whole new level of luxury. This gift contains five mini deluxe lipglosses in really wearable shades – red, pink, nude and brown – that offer a subtle shimmer too. They’re clutch bag appropriate, plus the result is a pout that’s ready to be put to work under the mistletoe. Make sure you check out the rest of the Laura Mercier Christmas gifts for more inspiration too!

4. Caudalie Beauty Elixir & Divine Oil Tubes (£11.50 & £8.00)
Every woman needs a bottle of Caudalie’s classic Beauty Elixir within their repertoire. Working to brighten the complexion and visibly diminish the appearance of pores and fine lines, this half-serum-half-toner is the perfect primer – as well as being a fabulous pick-me-up to refresh your look. In addition, their Divine Oil is a multi-purpose dry oil that can be used on face, body and hair; Formulated with a unique blend of oils (including grape, hibiscus, sesame and argan to replenish moisture,) this delivers intense nourishment for long-lasting comfort. Both of these are available in mini sizes, pre-packed in a little tube that even hangs off the tree; a great introduction to two of the brand’s most iconic and best selling products.

5. Avon ‘My Eyeliner Wardrobe’ (£12.49)
It’s always pretty tricky to find eyeliners that are truly effective, while offering a long-lasting result and affordable price point. Surprisingly, Avon are always a great place to start. This three-piece eyeliner gift includes a traditional pencil, khol and liquid liner pen to meet your every smokey eye need – plus it’s an incredible price. Their festive packaging is cute without being tacky, plus the box doesn’t ruin the surprise of what’s inside!

Are you rubbish at wrapping, or do you look forward to getting creative? Have any of these pre-wrapped gifts caught your eye?
