A rich lash line and full flutter is subconsciously associated with youth and vitality; the quest for perfect eyelashes has become a multi million pound industry, spawning not only innovative mascaras and artificial extensions, but a desire for the magical answer unrivalled by little else. There’s something about a full and striking set of lashes that makes me feel ready to face the day; it provides me with confidence, helps to widen my eyes keeps me looking fresh. But what if you could achieve a better flutter by focusing on the lashes beneath the makeup, working with the foundation upwards to ensure your natural lash line is the best it can be? That’s where RapidLash (the first eyelash enhancing serum to hit the UK market back in 2010) comes in; the clinically-proven and paraben-free serum helps improve the overall appearance and condition of your lashes in as little as four weeks. It can help provide your lashes with a much needed boost, ensuring a simple and effective solution that really does have a big impact on more than just your lash line.

The innovative formula features highly effective ingredients, including Polypeptides (to help protect against breakage,) Biotin (an essential factor in maintaining healthier-looking, youthful lashes,) Panthenol (to seal in moisture and nourishment for improved overall appearance,) Amino Acids (to help boost the protein structure, resulting in healthier-looking appearance,) Soybean Oil (which helps impart sheen and luster to lashes) and Pumpkin Seed Extract (high in vitamins and minerals to balance and enhance the appearance of lashes and brows.) Dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested, the unique blend works to enhance the appearance of lashes in as little as 30 days. Having sold over three million units worldwide, it’s no surprise that it’s become the secret of many women that’s passed on by word of mouth and incredible testimonials.

I’ve tried RapidLash myself and have been astounded by the results achieved, even though keeping to a routine of applying the transparent formula to my lash line daily before bed was a challenge in itself. After a few weeks I started to notice that my lashes were longer, fuller and stronger; my mascara started to have a better impact and I was actually applying less on a daily basis. A couple of months down the line and my lashes were so long and curly that they were actually touching the lens of my glasses – something that hadn’t happened ever before! Satisfied and a bit smug, I started getting a bit slack with applying the serum – unfortunately after a couple of months my lashes were back to their regular stumpy and sparse selves; this is definitely a routine you have to keep up to see the results indefinitely, so I’m back on the bandwagon and starting to see my lustworthy lashes develop again. To prove it wasn’t a fluke, over the last three months twenty LBQ readers have been putting RapidLash to the test to see if it could make a difference to their lash line too.

They were each sent a bottle of the product (which lasts up to two months) and asked to apply it daily; with 55% of them not being at all happy with their lashes before the trial (and 25% being neither dissatisfied or satisfied,) it was fascinating to see their relationship with their eyes turn around over just a couple of months. First things first, 95% of users found the application process either easy or very easy – all you have to do is apply it to the base of your lash line after you’ve removed all your makeup (or in the morning if more convenient.) After only two weeks Emma said: “I find it incredibly easy to use and it doesn’t irritate my eyes in the slightest. I’m not entirely sure if I’m seeing any improvement just yet; sometimes I think I am but then I wonder if I’m just imagining it!” Tiffany added “I’m already losing fewer lashes when removing my make up at night,” which is always a good thing when you’re after a fuller flutter. Daniella was astounded: “I’m really impressed with RapidLash already. I was sceptical due to the hype surrounding it, but it has made such a difference in such a short space of time.  When I had my eyelash extensions removed, I was upset – some of my eyelashes were missing and they looked short and stumpy.  Now, RapidLash has given me my long, full eyelashes back and I am so happy with it.” Ria agreed: “My lashes seem to be more nourished and are definitely glossier. Moreover, my mascara applies better and provides a more intense result too.”

Overall, 75% of people saw a difference after only a couple of weeks – which is a great result seeing as RapidLash recommend you use the product for 10-12 weeks before you’ll start seeing the full impact. However, after six weeks the results started to get *really* good: 62% noted that RapidLash had already helped their lashes to appear longer and that their mascara applied better than before – while 57% agreed that their lashes looked fuller. An overwhelming 86% of LBQ testers stated they would recommend the product to a friend after this short period of time too, while the same number (86%) specified they were either satisfied or very satisfied with the results RapidLash had provided over the initial six weeks. Sophie said: “My lashes have suddenly shot through in the past couple of weeks; it has really made my lashes grow so much faster.” Phoebe continued: “For someone who hasn’t been great at remembering to apply daily, I’ve still seen great results and hope to see more as the weeks go by!” Daniella agreed: “RapidLash hasn’t given me a false lash-like set of eyelashes, but they do feel stronger and I’ve noticed there’s less breakage.” Katy commented: “I’m finding RapidLash really easy to incorporate into my routine, and I can definitely see a difference in my lashes length-wise!”

So how did my panel of testers get on after they completed their initial 10-12 week trial? 87% of users were either satisfied or very satisfied with the results after the ten week trial, with the remainder specifying they were neither satisfied or dissatisfied. (100% happy chappies then, with nobody being disappointed!) Similarly, 87% of those that completed the trial would recommend the product to a friend and buy it again themselves too – an amazing result, taking into consideration how personal the results can be. Georgina sums it up perfectly: “I’m very pleased with my lashes as they appear longer and fuller; when mascara is applied there is a dramatic difference and there definitely appears to be more lashes. I’m very pleased with the serum – it really does work.” Amy agrees: “My lashes are looking amazing; it’s such an easy product to add into your night time routine.” Ria couldn’t be happier: “I love how I saw results even during the first two weeks. My mascara applied much better, and 10 weeks after they look fuller and longer. They used to shed easily, but they don’t any more! It’s been an awesome experience overall, so big thanks to LBQ and RapidLash for the opportunity!”

“My lashes are so much longer than before using RapidLash. I was really skeptical to begin with, but can really see the difference in length. It was easy to apply, didn’t sting my sensitive eyes and fitted into my evening routine,” said Laura. LBQ reader Katy continued: “I’ve really enjoyed using RapidLash; it’s been super easy to fit into my routine and I definitely think it’s made a difference to my lashes. They feel thicker and stronger and even a bit darker – something I’m really pleased with, given how fair my lashes are!” Stephanie said: “My lashes feel so much stronger and mascara applies like a dream. Overall they just look so much healthier!” So pretty much the result was universal: stronger, longer and fuller looking lashes that appear even better when coated with a touch of mascara. The product really does work, helping to create the lashes you knew you always had, with results being seen by my panel of testers only two weeks in.

I’m a convert, they’re converts… Will you be a convert too?

I've seen many reviews on this product, and the general opinion is that it works really well. I have long lashes as it is, but would love to give this a try, especially a few months before my wedding as I hate wearing fake lashes.Pam xo/ Pam Scalfi♥

The only thing that concerns me would be long term use. I mean everyone's lashes fall out naturally every six weeks or so. Like the lady above, I guess it's good for a short term fixhttp://vodkaandarose.blogspot.co.uk

It's a product that needs to be integrated into your routine – it's not a 'cure' for sparse lashes. Our lashes go through a routine, so this just helps to prevent fall out over the course of the natural cycle.

Oooh I do like serums, I think I will give it a try, but do agree it's worrying what might happen if you stop using it! http://www.cainhelen.blogspot.sg

When you stop using it your lashes just go back to their usual shedding cycle: it has no negative effects at all which is good 🙂 Yeah, it is one of those things that you need to keep up for results, but in my opinion, it's so worth it! Sophie / http://www.prettyandpolished.co.uk
