Lola’s Apothecary: Beautifully Crafted Indulgent Bath & Body Treats

One of the most precious times of my week is my regular bath night, when I can slip into a steaming tub an take a little time out from my ever busy world. A touch of indulgence and ‘me time’ makes the world of difference, even if only once a week, as it can help refresh your senses, clear your mind and get you ready for a healing sleep. Any product that can help me with that journey is a welcome addition to my routine; I adore face masks, hair treatments, soothing bath elixirs and anything that can fill my bathroom with a delicious scent. However, I’m a little tired of brightly coloured bath bombs and bubble baths that make me smell like a sweet shop. I want something more indulgent, more relaxing, more uplifting and more sophisticated – which is where Lola’s Apothecary comes in. This new brand is set to make waves thanks to their lustworthy vintage style packs, their delicious hand crafted multi-functional oils and their indulgent ‘Cleopatra inspired’ bath milks.

At the heart of Lola’s Apothecary is a belief in wellness and a holistic approach to life. Lola and her partner Dominic want their lovingly handmade products to provide their customers with gorgeous skin, but also offer a momentary retreat from the daily struggles of life. The glass bottles and encapsulated petals really get you in the mood for a treat before you even open the cap. The Queen of Roses bath milk creates a gorgeous rose scent, sweetened with the creaminess of buttermilk and vanilla, with an exotic hint of chocolate from raw cocoa butter.  It’s been developed to provide a modern British interpretation of Cleopatra’s legendary bathing ritual, so a few scoops into hot running water helps to leave your skin feeling silky smooth and soft. Lola’s Delicate Romance Balancing Body & Massage Oil also promotes deep healing and sensuality, transforming dull and dry skin into pure radiance. Not only can it be used as a bath oil, but it also hydrates skin and works beautifully as a massage oil – as well as being suitable to tackle stretchmarks and cuticles.

Not only do they offer a selection of bath oils and soaks, but also body polishes and candles, wedding favours and even tea (coming soon!) There’s really something very different and indulgent about Lola’s Apothecary that immediately caught my attention; the brand looks incredible in my bathroom and makes the most delectable of gifts. Although they’re relatively expensive (£36.00 for a bottle of bath oil,) they’re handmade with love and only the best ingredients – including rosehip, argan, sweet almond and peach kernel oils. For a beautiful treat, a birthday gift or even a little thank you, Lola has got it in the bag.

Lola’s Apothecary is currently available online. Prices start from £30.00.

This brand looks absolutely divine and the ingredients they use sound truly sublime. I am always on the look out for something a little more sensual than a bath fizzy! Great post 🙂
