Just In Time For Summer: New Shades Of ‘Speedy Quick Dry’ Nail Paint From Barry M

Barry M are a brand that’s sitting firmly on top of the nail polish tower, showing no signs of slowing down or changing direction. They’re unrivalled kings of the nail category, offering customers an affordable way to update their look and dip their toe into the latest season’s trends. In February they launched their ‘Speedy Nail’ collection of polish (read my original review here,) providing a portfolio of spring colours that included wearable and on-trend tones, but this May they’re extending the range with six new colours and textures for those of you that desire something a little stronger. Although the original line-up was incredibly ‘pastel’, these six shades pack a punch and lean towards the tropical tones you often see on the high street come summer. All that, and they’re still touch dry in only a couple of minutes!

The polish is a pleasure to apply and coats the nail with ease, the
brush collecting the perfect amount of product to cover the nail and provide a
streak-free finish; two coats ensures a true-to-bottle colour
result too. What’s really exciting about this range is that it really does
dry in next to no time at all; after applying two coats and waiting for a
few minutes, I’m ready to face the day ahead. I love the flawless finish and the fact that it doesn’t seem to chip as quickly as other polishes. The test is always what I pick up when I’m in a rush and need my nails to look fab – and for the last couple of months I’ve definitely been pulled towards these nail paints. The six new shades include a bold and bright pink, powerful purple, candy toned shimmering blush pink, bright and cheery yellow, a shimmering coral and an irridescent blue, ticking every box as we head into summer. I’ve no doubt this will become their hero nail range and that we’ll see more and more shades launching throughout the year, but for the meantime these bridge the gap perfectly between one season and the next.

Have you tried the Barry M ‘Speedy Quick Dry’ nails? Are you a fan of the Barry M polish?

The new shades of Barry M’s Speedy Nail Paint are available this May, priced £3.99 each.

Bought Supersonic shade yesterday, it's so pretty. Not a fan of yellow nail polishes but the one in the photo is really calling out to me.
