In an industry that’s always looking for the next big thing, rather than focusing on some of the incredible brands we already have on offer, reaching a significant milestone is somewhat of an achievement. This year the brand that bought us the cult cleansing product ‘Cleanse & Polish’ is celebrating their 20th birthday – and they’re still looking really rather good. The creamy formula that’s loved by millions across the globe was my first foray into effective cleansing, after relying on facewipes (gasp) and cleansing lotions for years on end. It was one of the first brands to adopt working with bloggers, introducing me to a product that five years later I’m still returning to on a regular basis; although other formulas come and go, Cleanse & Polish is so reliable and effective that I inevitably return to my cleansing roots and realise why I love it so much. To celebrate such a huge milestone, Liz Earle are re-releasing their trio of limited edition hot cloth cleansing formulas in a delightful turquoise tin; not only does it contain some incredible scents, but its somewhat of a collectors item too!
Featuring Rose & Lavender (comforting and relaxing, great for use before bed,) Orange Flower & Chamomile (soothing and calming, fabulous after a long day,) and Grapefruit & Patchouili (uplifting and energising, making it great as part of your morning routine,) this limited edition tin is a great buy if you’re a hardcore fan or a new customer alike. I was super excited when these were launched the first time around, so I’m even more in a tizz about them coming back for a second time. Although the formula inside is the same white cream we know and love so well, the bottles are adorned with pretty designs that make these all the more lustworthy.
If you’re not familiar with Cleanse & Polish, then essentially the multi award-winning cream cleanser quickly removes daily grime and make up (even most mascaras) to leave skin clean, soft and radiant. Ideal for either your morning or evening cleanse, the mineral-oil-free formulation works on every age and skin type, offering concentrated yet gentle cleansing power. When used in conjunction with a muslin cloth, dead and dull skin cells are removed to reveal radiant skin beneath. Each bottle usually costs £15.50, making it an affordable buy – especially as you only need one pump to cleanse your entire face. It’s a shame this beautiful tin doesn’t come with a celebratory price tag (at £50.00 it doesn’t offer a saving on the three bottles of product and muslin cloths, but you do get the tin!) but I’ve no doubt these will fly out the door. Congratulations Liz, on reaching such an amazing milestone. Here’s to the next twenty years! Are you a fan of the cult Cleanse & Polish, or any other Liz Earle products?
