NEW From NARS: All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation

Great foundations are hard to come by; there’s a reason why we all tend to stick with what we know and mourn the loss of anything that’s discontinued. I for one struggle to find formulas that offer the coverage I require without coating me in a heavy, thick mess that’s half way down my face by 3pm. Although a few affordable formulations provide the results I crave, on the whole you really do get what you pay for when it comes to foundation. NARS are a brand that offer some great colour products, but I don’t tend to think of them when it comes to bases. However, with the launch of their new All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation they’ve created an incredible formula that’s a great investment for anyone wanting great coverage without feeling like they’re wearing a mask.

All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation creates a full
coverage result in a single, weightless drop. You really don’t need much
at all (although in all honesty I use about two small pumps rather than just one drop,) as the
fluidity helps it to move around the face and create a flawless finish.
It’s oil free and contains exclusive ‘Even Tone Technology’ that
immediately neutralizes redness, dullness and discoloration to leave
your complexion looking practically airbrushed. Although it does cover
the natural contour of my face and definitely requires blush and bronzer
over the top to create definition and tone, the result is really quite natural.

It claims to last for
up to sixteen hours, making it the perfect base to take you from the
morning commute right through to dinner with friends, and there’s really
no transference or slip. I can apply this first thing in the morning and take my makeup off before bed still looking practically identical; there’s no greasy t-zone, no wear around the nose or chin and no smudge all over my phone screen! Technology is definitely moving on and providing us with the coverage many of us demand, without the cakey finish that’s often left behind as a compromise; NARS have converted me into their base reportoire as much as their colour cosmetics with this launch and it’s one I’d thoroughly recommend you check out if you’re in the market for a new foundation this Spring.

The NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation is available in 20 shades nationwide from 1st February, priced £33.00.

Oh wow, this foundation sounds amazing and definitely like what I'm looking for. I hate being able to feel foundation on my skin and more often than not tend t stick with the lighter formulations. I will definitely be picking this one up on launch day. I stumbled across your blogpost while looking for reviews on this foundation (I've been dying to get my hands on it). Out of curiosity, what skin type do you have? I have very oily skin, and am looking for something that will last for at least 5-6 hours, but still a very natural finish (matte always makes me look very ill). -Katherinehttp://thegreenbows.blogspot.ca

I have normal skin, but it's not oily at all so I shouldn't imagine it's a problem – it's matte though, so maybe give it a try at counter?
