Frozen ‘Lip Smacker’ Lip Balms: Fab Stocking Fillers For Kids & Grown-Ups

It’s been named as the most awesome animated film of all time and has created a stampede for anything adorned with it’s name. Frozen is undoubtedly the film of 2014, having been featured on everything from The X Factor to adverts for car maintenance and much in-between. I have to admit before last weekend I was a Frozen virgin, but after sitting down with a cup of tea to see what all the fuss was about I wasn’t left bitterly disappointed. I’m definitely an Aladdin and Little Mermaid kind of girl, but there’s certainly something a little bit special about this latest Disney movie. Unsurprisingly the masterminds behind the story are capitalising on its success in every way imaginable, so these cute scented lip balms are hitting stores just in time for the festive season; they make a great addition to any stocking this Christmas – for both kids and grown-ups alike. Available in six characters and corresponding flavours/scents, they’re surprisingly delicious as well as being incredibly affordable.

Available in Olof (coconut snowballs,) Sven (Berry Slush,) Anna (strawberry shake,) Kristoff (ice pop,) Elsa (cool vanilla mint) and an Elsa-Anna combo (chilled cranberry grape,) all the scents are very much seasonally appropriate. They all smell absolutely delicious and not at all ‘fake’ or super sweet (apart from chilled cranberry grape which reminds me too much of sickly Slush Puppies.) My personal favourites are the Elsa ‘cool vanilla mint’ that reminds me of After Eights, as well as the ‘coconut snowballs’ which smells like a white chocolate hot drink. The balms are totally transparent and apply well to leave lips feeling soothed and lubricated; although Lip Smacker balms aren’t designed for a serious hit of hydration, they’re great fun and smell somewhat addictive. At £2.49 each and exclusively available in Claire’s Accessories, there’s no doubt that these will be hard to keep on the shelves! Will you be rushing out to stock up?

All six flavours/characters are available individually priced £2.49 each. Also available in a six-piece multi-pack tin for £9.99.

Those are really super cute. I really liked the movie frozen. I especially liked the twist surrounding Annas love affair with the prince. First time i can remember that a Disney movie incorporated an evil character which was not shown as obviously evil from start. My favourite animated movie stays finding Nemo though ;). I have never tried any of this Lip Smackers from Claires. I guess i have already so many very hydrating lip balms that i could not possibly find space to put even more on my lips but this strike me indeed great as gift ideas especially also for younger girls.
