Skincare can be a complicated business. With millions of lotions, potions, serums and treatments promising to give you the skin you’ve always dreamt of, it’s hard to cut through the noise and actually find out what will work for you. It’s not only essential to understand your skin type and needs, but pay special attention to the specific ageing concerns that may be relevant to you as the years pass by. B. is a collection of premium skincare, created by industry experts to help women find the products that are right for them – clearing away any clutter and confusion, providing guidance and inspiration via key stages that relate to the needs of our skin in our 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and now 50’s. B. offers a premium experience at a mainstream price; all their products are packed with a high concentration of active ingredients to ensure great results without breaking the bank. This autumn B. launches its first ever complete new skincare phase, Skin Phase 4 B. Nourished, which is clinically proven to reduce wrinkles by 11% in just 8 weeks.*

Aimed at women 50 years and over, B. Nourished
offers three anti-ageing products clinically proven to provide 12 hour
hydration and designed to address the specific needs of mature skin.
Including a Day Cream, Night Cream and Anti-Ageing Serum, B. Nourished
contains a potent trio of super-ingredients including a new active
peptide that’s being hailed as the next generation of skincare. This
surface ‘wrinkle filler’ works from the inside on deep lines, helping to
rebuild skin where it’s needed most.  In addition to a powerful plant
stem cell active (which helps add elasticity to the skin, as well as
skin tone and dark spots,) the result is a clinically proven improvement
to skin elasticity by 36% in 8 weeks.*  Furthermore, Revinage plumps
and smooths wrinkles by stimulating collagen growth and bringing
rejuvenation and elasticity back to the skin – without the irritation
that’s often associated with retanoids. The inclusion of this ingredient
has been clinically proven to reduce skin roughness by 18.5% in 8
weeks*, something that can be problematic as we age and cause skin to
look dull and dry.

This new trio of products will
complete B.’s skincare family, which currently includes Phase 1 for
women in their twenties, Phase 2 for women in their thirties and Phase 3
created specifically for women in their forties. Like everything in the
B. makeup and skincare collection, Skin Phase 4 carries the leaping
bunny symbol of Cruelty Free International, is suitable for use by
vegans and is totally free from parabens – making the price points
(starting from £14.99) pretty astonishing. Although I’m not quite of an
age where I need serious skincare support, my mother and grandmother
will be putting this new range to the test over the coming weeks to see
if it can really help their skin to look and feel great. I’ll be
reporting back on their progress and sharing their thoughts on this new
trio of products, helping them to establish a new skincare regime which
will hopefully leave their skin radiant. In the meantime, why not check
out the products yourself and recommend them to your own loved ones
ahead of the festive season? What better time to invest in our skin than
in advance of a new year…

Skin Phase 4 comprises of B. Nourished Serum, B. Nourished Day Cream
and B. Nourished Night Cream; prices start from £14.99. Available now at selected Superdrug stores and superdrug.com – currently up to half price!

*Tested on 30 women aged 60 -73 years old; average age of the test subjects was 65 years. Hydration tested on 11 women aged 45 -56 years old; average age of the test subjects was 57 years.

I really like B.'s skincare, good to see them expanding their range although at 23 I hopefully won't be needing this phase for a few years yet! Jess xo http://just-jesss.blogspot.co.uk

Testing on numbers as small as that to make big advertising statements is ridiculous!

30 women is actually higher than a lot of industry standards – plus, laboratory testing to this degree is thorough enough to only require that quantity as the results are so rigorous. Every claim has to be substantiated from a legal and ASA/OFT point of view before it can be used; they haven't just pulled facts out of thin air!

This product B. Nourished day cream 4 and the corresponding serum caused an allergic reaction. Redness, tight sore swollen skin. Took a few weeks to realise the product was the cause. Be careful.
