NEW From Clinique: Chubby Stick ‘Baby Tint’ Moisturising Lip Colour Balm

The Chubby Stick family is growing quicker than the cast of Hollyoaks, with their repertoire now including lip colour, cheek stains and eye crayons. Arriving this summer are four new little siblings, as Clinique introduce their ‘Baby Tint’ range of lip balms that aim to enhance the natural shade of our lips. Available in four different shades, these balms offer an injection of moisture with only a hint of colour – the bullets are quite deceptive, as the shades are so subtle they don’t even show up in photos. They’re a little smaller than the current Chubby Stick products for lips, being very much a lip balm with added benefits; however, they’re not designed for sore or chapped lips – more for adding a touch of lubricant on the go when you get that feeling your lips need some love.

The texture and result is very similar to that of the Benefit Benebalms,
so if you didn’t like those then you’re not going to like these very
much either! At £17.00 each they’re possibly some of the most expensive
lipbalms I’ve ever come across, but for fans of Clinique and their
Chubbies I’m sure this will be an impulse purchase come payday. The
awkward thing? The result is also different on everyone, meaning that my
experience could be completely different to that of yours. Hmmmm… They’re perfectly pleasant and look super cute, adding delicate shine and an almost indistinguishable tint to my pout. However, I’m not sure I would willingly part with nearly twenty quid for a posh lipbalm if push came to shove. What do you think of the latest addition to the Chubby Stick family? Would you push aside your Chapstick for one of these Chubbies?

The Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Colour Balms are available in four shades, each priced £17.00.

I'm not really a fan of Chubby Sticks to be honest and I can't really see the point of these. If you can barely see the colour and they're not really for sore or chapped lips then what exactly are they supposed to be for? I definitely won't be parting with £17 for one of these x Becky @ The Little Blog of Beauty
