They may have been making false lashes since the 1960’s, but it’s taken Eylure a long time to realise they could corner another area of the makeup world. It’s long been a frustration of mine that high street makeup brands only offer one or two brow products, meaning you have to hunt all over the shop to find the products that work for you and meet every brow need possible. All that’s about to change with the launch of Eylure’s new brow collection, which includes everything from at-home dye kits and colour palettes, to nourishing oils and pencils – all at affordable prices.
The collection ensures you have all the tools you need to achieve the perfect brows without even visiting a salon. Kicking off with handy waxing strips and a little kit of dye, you’re able to primp and preen brows to ensure you’ve got a fab starting point on which to build; the Nourishing Oil is enriched with rosemary oil to promote healthy hair growth, making it a great overnight treatment that can be used directly on brows using the rollerball applicator, while the Control & Shape Gel helps to style hairs exactly where you want them. All that’s left to do is fill in your brows and create the perfect statement look: the plastic Brow Shapers are super handy and actually work with the curve of your face thanks to their flexible design (unlike others which are incredibly difficult to manoevre into place,) allowing you to fill in the shapre with the Brow Palette and Brow Pencil.
All of the shading products are available in a multitude of colours, from blonde right through to dark brown, ensuring you can get the perfect finish and the most natural result. The palette includes a dark wax, highlighter and brow colour, all of which can help to shade and define; the brow pencil can also help to create the illusion of individual hairs and offer a more natural finish, which is perfect for a daily look. All of these products combined offer an affordable and effective solution for brow problems – although they’re not the same quality as premium brands, they’re a great introduction to brow maintenance and provide fab temporary results. I love the Nourishing Oil and Brow Pencil in particular and think they’d be a great addition to any brow enthusiasts collection, especially as they’re both less than a tenner.
