A ‘Wide Awake’ Patch: Elemis Pro-Collagen Hydra Gel Eye Masks

If Monday mornings leave you feeling like you’ve not slept since Friday, then you could benefit from a little helping hand. As soon as tiredness sets in, the first thing to feel dodgy is the eye area – it can become warm, achy and feel like it’s a struggle to keep your eyelids from closing… And that’s before the dark circles, drooping skin and dullness. I simply can’t function properly when my eyes feel exhausted, struggling for the rest of the day until it’s an appropriate time to take a nap. However, in the last couple of weeks I’ve been turning to these little eye masks from Elemis for a little morning boost. The Pro-Collagen Hydra Gel Eye Masks can be applied under the eye area and left to work for twenty minutes, not only helping you to feel more awake, but simultaneously reducing the appearance of fine lines and hydrating the delicate skin area.

Each pack contains six individually packed sets of eye masks, ensuring they’re
hydrated with the gel-like formula and remain ready and waiting for
whenever they’re required. The eye mask itself is a transparent silicone
‘bean’ shape that’s covered in the beneficial formula, sticking instantly to
skin and staying in place for as long as you need it to – it doesn’t
slip or budge, meaning you can get on with getting
ready in the mornings while taking care of your dark circles. The Pro-Collagen Hydra Gel Eye Masks are
clinically proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in
only 20 minutes, with results staying put for up to six hours – perfect
if you’ve got a big meeting scheduled or don’t want to let on what your weekend included.

soon as you apply the mask it provides an instant cooling sensation,
helping to alleviate the symptoms we associate with tiredness: warm
under-eye area and a strong need for the eyes to close. You feel
instantly awake and more alert, with the delicate skin under the eyes
feeling hydrated and injected with goodness. The formula contains
‘potent Plankton Extract, combined with the power of Padina Pavonica and
Chlorella’ for an instant skin-tightening effect, whilst Hyaluronic
Acid hydrates the fragile eye area. Whenever I use these I definitely look and feel more awake, with the heavy concealer being brushed to one side in favour of something a little lighter. Although these aren’t cheap at all (about £7.50 a pair,) if you really want to feel awake and look radiant then they’re a great little Monday morning treat. Nobody will ever know about that 4am chicken burger.

The Pro-Collagen Hydra Gel Eye Masks are available online priced £46.00 for a pack of six. However, they’re currently available for £36.80 via Look Fantastic.

I was a little unsure which side to apply as they were quite wet generally. I opted for the textured side. Is that correct? Thanks.

You can apply either way around – the formula is saturated.
