Neals Yard Remedies Celebrates 10Yrs of ‘Wild Rose Beauty Balm’

Since I discovered cleansing balms, removing the day’s build-up has simply not been the same. I wonder now how I ever coped with a bottle of cream cleanser and a cotton pad, not feeling ready for bed unless I’ve thoroughly removed my makeup with a balm and warm muslin cloth. Discovering a great cleansing oil, balm or gel can have such a positive impact on your beauty routine, helping to thoroughly remove any traces of makeup and impurities, while helping to soothe the skin and even provide anti-ageing benefits. Once you’ve discovered one you live and swear by, it’s hard to part with it – so it’s no surprise Neal’s Yard Remedies are celebrating ten years of their iconic and cult classic Wild Rose Beauty Balm cleanser.

Their award-winning Wild Rose Beauty Balm can be used as a
rich cleanser, gentle exfoliant or deeply nourishing balm to quench
areas of dry or dehydrated skin. The balm melts into the skin when it’s
warmed and massaged between the fingers, lifting dull and dead skin
from the surface and helping to wash away makeup residue when used with a muslin
cloth or flannel. It leaves skin feeling super smooth, soft and
hydrated, ready to regenerate and reboot itself overnight as you sleep.

High
levels of rosehip oil (a potent antioxidant proven to help repair, firm
and smooth the skin,) are combined with geranium, starflower, hemp and
rosemary oil, to help enrich the skin and restore its natural radiance.
It smells heavenly, the rosehip oil providing a comforting base that
delicately relaxes the senses as you massage it into the skin.

In celebration of the ten year anniversary of the launch, Neal’s Yard Remedies have teamed up with British artist Alice Shields to create this beautiful floral packaging. Available for a limited period only, the packaging is bright and fun, while remaining true to the heritage of the brand – I love the ‘handwritten’ name and the wild flowers that feature on the pack. Although originally formulated for more mature skin, or for those of use just starting to get into ‘anti-ageing’ territory, it’s actually great for all skin types when used as part of a pre-bedtime cleansing routine.

Although there are cheaper alterantives available, this little pot of Wild Rose Beauty Balm is a great investment in your skin and will help you soothe away the days stresses. It’s great to use when you get home for work, as you change into your PJs or before brushing your teeth, providing a sensory experience that relaxes the senses and leaves you ready for the land of nod. Are you a fan of the Wild Rose Beauty Balm?

The limited edition Wild Rose Beauty Balm pack launches the end of April, priced £37.50, but you can get the standard version online right now.
