Last Minute Mothers Day Gifts, Suitable For Every Budget

If you’re still not ready for the forthcoming celebrations this weekend, then shame on you! Mother’s Day is the one time of the year we all get to spoil our loved ones unashamedly, so make the most of the opportunity and get her a gift she’ll really treasure. Although it’s not all about splashing out (it’s the thought that counts and even a great handmade card will suffice,) it is an opportunity to treat mum and get her a token that will put a smile on her face. If you’re still struggling with inspiration, then my top picks will hopefully give you a helping hand when you need it most. Whether or not you have a fiver or £50.00 to spend, there’s a little token ready to be wrapped in tissue paper and handed over with love. These are my last minute picks for indulgent treats your mum simply wouldn’t think to buy herself.

1. Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay Scented Sachets (£20.00)
Part of their Michael Angove collaboration, these fabulous limited edition sachets are perfect for adding a touch of scent to a room or drawer. Available in a pack of three, the design is perfect for mums that are in touch with their green fingers or simply those that enjoy a beautiful and layered scent. The ‘Blackberry & Bay’ fragrance is rich and comforting, yet uplifting enough for spring days.

2. Limited Edition Olay Beauty Fluid (£4.99)
Nothing says ‘mum’ to me more than a bottle of this classic pink moisturiser. Launched in time for Mother’s Day, this limited edition design is sure to be treasured for months to come.  The light formula will slip flawlessly into her routine, while the heart shaped logo will put a smile on her face every time she opens the lid.

3. Eau de Lacoste Sensuelle fragrance (£45.00)
One of my favourite new launches, this new scent from Lacoste is sensual and comforting all in one. Containing notes of blackberry, pink pepper and amber, it’s a scent your mum wouldn’t have chosen for herself but certainly one she’ll love.

4. L’Occitane Rose Heart Ultra Soft Cream (£18.00)
I love these cute little tins that make moisturising a little more glamorous. A hint of rose is detectable when you apply this to skin, providing a classic scent with a modern L’Occitane twist. The tins are also the perfect dressing table accompaniment and will provide mum with cute storage when she’s finished with the cream inside.

5. This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray (£16.00)
If your mum is a busy bee, always moving from one task to the next, then she may have trouble switching off and getting a good night’s sleep. This handy pillow spray from This Works includes essential oils of Lavender, Vetivert and Wild Chamomile to help induce a deep, restful sleep.

6. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (£26.00)
A classic beauty product for women of all ages, Eight Hour cream can be used as a skin soother, lip balm, after sun, cracked heel treatment and much more. A tube of this will be a motherly saviour until at least Christmas, when you can buy her another one.

7. Hand Chemistry Hand Cream (£18.99)
This concentrated multi-functional hand cream targets eight signs of hand aging simultaneously, with six proven technologies. Hailed as a wonder product by all that test it, the testimonials online talk for themselves. Give your mum the gift of youth and help her reclaim the hands of her past.

What are you planning on buying your mum this Mother’s Day?
