White boots are big for Spring 2014, which means there already popping up on our high street and asking to be worn in February. (I miss the days when spring didn’t actually hit the shops until, erm, spring.) Although everyone from Burberry to ASOS is telling us that white boots are a must-have accessory, how do you wear them when it’s practically snowing outside and certainly not time to get rid of the opaques? Well I think I’ve found the perfect solution in the form of these fabulous shoe-boots from Topshop.
If there’s one thing I hate the most in this world, it’s cold toes. There’s nothing worse than losing all sensation in your toosies in the name of fashion, hobbling home because you’ve no idea where the end of your foot becomes the end of the pavement. These shoe-boots provide sufficient toe coverage, whilst still being rather fashion forward. They’re super practical too, featuring only a small heel which is perfect for trapsing around the streets of London to meetings all day long, and the double ankle strap ensures they’re tightly fitted to your feet.
Although they’re predominately white (and therefore totally on-trend,) the black toe and heel detail makes them perfectly wearable at this time of year – especially as they still look great when worn with opaques. I love these shoe-boots and will be wearing them with pride throughout the remaining winter months and into spring with ease. What’s even better is that I picked these up in the sale, reduced from £55.00 to an incredible £15.00. Oh, how I love bargain.
