NEW From Models Own: Hypergel, Gel Effect Nail Polish

Models Own are continually launching new fab nail colours, striking effects and flawless finishes. With their latest launch, Models Own are offering their personal take on the gel trend that’s been emerging from salons and finding its way onto our high streets; HyperGel is a range of mega shine shades that are highly pigmented, long-lasting and chip resistant. Enriched
with lotus flower oil, the gel-like finish gives the professional shine
of a salon manicure – something we all lust after. Gel manicures are possibly the best beauty invention in the last ten years, providing a long-lasting result that makes our lives so much more polished. I love the idea of a gel effect manicure from the comfort of your own home, but until now none of the products I’ve tried have really lived up to expectations. However, these HyperGel polishes offer everything I need and more… In this season’s hottest pastel colours.

The texture of the polish is significantly thicker than usual Models Own nail varnishes, ensuring it covers the nail effectively in only two coats. It can become a little gloopy if you don’t brush on the polish and perfect it quickly, so make sure you don’t faff around with this! Although the initial result may look a little weak, the polish dries to leave a strong colour that has a flawless shiny finish. It dries pretty quickly too, unlike a lot of gel polishes that take a significant time to thoroughly dry, and the hard coating helps to prevent chipping. Normally I chip polish to death within about 48 hours, but this polish is still going strong beyond that. Models Own have done a great job with these varnish shades and I’ve no doubt they’ll become some of the most popular polishes of 2014. These are a fab buy and at only £5.00 you can afford to invest in the whole collection!

The ‘Hypergel‘ polishes are available in Boots stores and online priced £5.00

I absolutely love the colours of these. I think the mint green is my favourite. Good to hear that they don't chip easily as I'm yet to find a nail varnish that lasts longer than 24 – 48 hours on me without chipping!Laura x | Life and Lipstick

These started to chip on day three – but to be fair I wash up and type a LOT!

Day three they started to chip, but I type and wash up a hell of a lot. If they last to day two I'm more than happy!
