NEW Paul & Joe: Violet Treatment Balm

The scent of palma violet sweets reminds me of my childhood, sitting in the park on a warm summers day munching through a packet of lilac tabs with my friends. I’ve always loved the fragrance of the little sweets, so the Paul & Joe Violet Treatment Balm (that just happens to smell the same) is a dream come true. The balm is a luxurious multi-functional body treatment which hydrates and soothes the skin; it can be used to instantly relieve dry skin in key areas such as elbows, knees, hands and cuticles, as well as a lip treatment and applied to the hair to repair split ends. It’s packaged in a super cute and stylish ‘art deco’ tin that wouldn’t be out of place in the Great Gatsby, ensuring that when you take it out of your bag you’re the envy of all your friends.

The balm is solid and rich, but melts into an oil-like texture when
applied to the skin. It’s not at all greasy and is easily absorbed,
making it perfect for use on the go – it works as a great all-in-one
treatment when your lips are dry, your cuticles are troublesome and your
hands are cracking. Containing a blend of active ingredients, including
Organic Jojoba Oil and Orange Honey, the balm relaxes the senses and
nourishes the skin at the same time, making it perfect for this time of
year. The scent is extremely delicate, so if you’re not a fan of palma violets then you may still find it comforting and a sweet treat to pop in your bag; it doesn’t leave you feeling like you’re covered in sugar, but it does leave skin feeling soothed and refreshed. I love a good multi-use product, as it doesn’t only save room in my bag, but saves pennies in my purse too.

The Violet Treatment Balm is £20.00 for a 27g tub, but is currently available for only £10.00 online via Beauty Bay!
