The name Jimmy Choo will always make me think of Carrie’s excessive shoe wardrobe in Sex & The City, but ten years later they’re more than just a shoe brand. After their debut fragrance became a global success, Jimmy Choo have been adding to their collection – this time with an extension of the ‘Flash’ fragrance simply called ‘London Club’. The scent aims to capture ‘the unparalleled glamour and excitement of London’s hedonistic nightlife,’ through the notes of lychee, citrus fruit and fresh flowers – and it does just that.
Flash London Club is an ultra-modern, floral fruity musky
perfume that’s housed in an appropriately glitter-ball-inspired bottle;
the silver glitter that adorns the base creates the atmosphere, while
the indentations of the bottle evoke the feeling of a ball shimmering
from the ceiling of a club. Although this could have been extremely
tacky, the packaging airs just on the right side of blingtastic to bring
a bit of sparkle to an otherwise dull January.

Although the top notes are fruity and uplifting, the heart of the fragrance is a powdery musk scent that oozes sensuality. Definitely a scent for party girls and city ladies, Flash London Club reminds me of my party days when I could dance all night long and still have the energy to hunt down a burger at 4am.
Even if you can’t quite face another late night until March, this could
bring a smile to your face and put you in a better mood – even if you’re
just drinking champagne on the sofa come Saturday night.
