LBQ Brand Focus #20: Rituals

Rituals believe happiness can be found in the smallest of things. They transform everyday routines into moments of indulgence with their exquisitely scented luxurious products, making the mundane into the adventurous. Founder Raymond Cloosterman established Rituals in 2000, believing we needed to pay just a little bit more attention to the details. Inspired by Eastern traditions, each ancient ‘wisdom’ product range has its own specifically selected ingredients and
distinctive benefits. Rituals combine these with innovative technologies to
create a unique way of experiencing these ancient Eastern traditions, that is more relevant to the modern day customer. Not only do they offer a fabulous range of home fragrances, pampering bath products and luxurious creams, but they even have a range of nail varnish and washing-up liquid!

I love everything about Rituals: the beautiful scents, the luxurious packaging, the Eastern inspiration… Everything screams indulgence and a little luxury where you (sometimes) least expect it. The foaming shower gels provide a rich and creamy lather that makes your morning routine a little more uplifting (especially in the Happy Buddha fragrance which features revitalising mandarin,) while the fragrance sticks provide a subtle scent to really make your house a home. (My personal favourite is the delicate rose scent.) The Lao Tze foot cream ensures feet are cooled, soothed and hydrated without feeling greasy, while the Happy Mist ensures your bed smells delicious and enables you to drift off to sleep with a smile on your face.

To ensure high standards within the Rituals range, they only use natural, renewable and organic ingredients for their products and safe alternatives for anything nature cannot provide. With their inspiration, ingredient story and quality you’d expect Rituals to cost you a small fortune; however, the great news is that this is one of the most cost effective product ranges I’ve come across in some time. While the shower gels are available for £8.50, the home fragrance starts at around £25.00 and body products £10.00 – half the price of Jo Malone, Molton Brown and other luxurious brands known for their unique scents. If you’re looking for a little indulgence during a dreary January, then make sure you check out what Rituals has to offer… The little things can make a big difference.
