My bathroom is full to the brim with lotions, potions, scrubs, candles, bath soaks and pampering oils. It’s my haven and where I go to relax after a long day, or simply rejuvinate after a heavy weekend – I couldn’t do without a shelf bursting full of scented treats. St Grape are a brand that have indulgent bath time treats available in bucket-loads, as their extensve research has allowed them to develop a range of unique beauty products that combine ancient wisdom with cutting edge modern science. Their skincare products aim to cleanse, nurture, relax and heal, bringing the joy and luxury of a home spa to all at prices everyone can afford. All their products are developed using handmade or ancient processes using the highest level of pure source ingredients on the market, then eco-packaged to ensure the environment is respected as much as possible. The rich aromas are exotic and rich, but equally relaxing and calming, providing a sensory experience that leaves a lasting impression.
Exotic Soaking Salt £15.00
Made up of 100% naturally enriched pure essential oils and ‘high quality grade A’ Himalayan mineral crystal pink salt, the Exotic Soaking Salt can be used in the bath or to soak tired feet after a long day. The delicate scent isn’t overpowering, while the salt crystals are small enough to disolve easily and leave a pleasant relaxing tub of water behind. The salt can also be used as an exfoliator to remove dull and dry skin cells, refreshing and revitalising dry and tired skin. Therapeutically the composition can detoxify, stimulate circulation and soothe sore muscles – all in all a fabulous multi-tasking product that is well worth the price tag.
Invisible Skin Massage Oil £25.00
My least favourite of the four products, purely because the bottle didn’t close properly and lead to a lot of wastage, this massage oil is still a pleasant addition to my bathroom. The oil isn’t too greasy, making it perfect to use in the shower or as an intense moisturiser for limbs, and carries an unusual scent that instantly lifts the mind. Although St Grape suggest this can be used as a facial serum, it’s way too heavy for me personally; it works well when a few drops are added to a steaming bath, or simply used after bathing to help lock in moisture.
Ancient Foot Scrub £25.00
This giant tub of 100% natural sea salt and essential oils is great for use in the shower, as you simply grab a handful of the loose exfoliator and use to scrub away dead skin and dirt from the feet. The crystals are the perfect size for ridding the feet of build-up without being too harsh, while the formula doens’t leave any residue behind after washing. I’ve found myself reaching for this a couple of times a week as it helps me retain that ‘just had a pedicure’ feeling for longer. This huge 500g tub will be plenty to keep you going through the winter and beyond.
Aqua Bliss Bath Scrub £12.00
A finely ground combination of natural salt, essential oils and Vitamin E, this multi-purpose product can be used for both the body and face. Suitable for all skin types, it’s free from sulfates, perochemicals, silicone and parabens, as well as having no artificial colours included. Although the scent is really quite strong, the quality of the scrub far outweighs this slight niggle. The finely ground salt really helps to buff skin and leave it feeling refreshed, without removing too much or irritating the top layers of limbs. A little too harsh for use on my face, this is still comparable to many far more expensive brands and extravagant concoctions.
Although the range is still in development and the branding a little
inconsistent across the products, the formulas inside are definitely
worth a little more of your time. I love the fact that they’re multi-purpose and are available in large sizes, ensuring you really get the most out of the natural sea salts and essential oils included. St Grape have been kind enough to give me five sets of the products above to give away to some of you lovely lot, so your bath times can be as luxurious as mine.
