I’m a kid of the 90’s. I grew up watching Philip Schofield in the Broom Cupboard, wearing cycling shorts, accessorising my shoes with slouchie socks and listening to Blur (when what I really wanted to be listening to was Boyzone.) If there’s one scent that epitomises my youth, then it has to be the classic CK One. Back in the day a unisex fragrance was revolutionary, so everyone I knew asked for it for Christmas and doused themselves in it morning, noon and night. I never knew a boy to actually wear it though, so it always made me wonder if ‘unisex’ just meant it was a bit cooler than a usual women’s fragrance. CK One are re-launching the fragrance in 2012 and have released this very nostalgic advert to reinvigorate the brand and appeal to people, like me, who are approaching their older years. What better way to celebrate a cult 1990’s scent than with a cult 1990’s tune… Lets JUMP AROUND!
