It’s still all about the plait at London Fashion Week, with Todd Lynn’s hair inspiration coming from “a wealthy woman on Safari – in the outback for a few days with an emerging suntan, slightly sweaty and sporting a low sitting ponytail, extended by super long hair wefts plaited and resting almost at waist level.” The hair in this look takes on a multi-tonal effect, where the model’s own natural colour is blended with extensions that are two shades lighter to give the illusion of sun-exposed hair that’s taken in the rays and is slightly disheveled. Again, this is an uber easy look to replicate at home and will take you from catwalk to high street in the shake of some resurrection dust; just distress the ponytail by shaking in some dust and backcombing the exposed edges of the plait. Skip the hair extensions for a simpler look, or add a single weft in for added impact and extra length. Who said being on-trend was hard work?
