The fashionistas continue to take over our capital and the makeup continues to be subtle. Revlon were the ones taking care of the Rag & Bone show this weekend, with Revlon’s Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman, ensuring the girls on the catwalk looked polished but still attainable. “I wanted to create a look that was bold, but still looked soft and natural,” she says. “I was inspired by the iconic supermodels of the 90’s and the great structure of their brows. I kept the makeup very pure, adding just a touch of natural flush to the lips by mixing two lip products together, and I used a brow pencil to create subtle freckles and a dramatic brow to top the whole look off.” Below is a little video which takes you behind the scenes and gives a really good overview of what London Fashion Week is REALLY about. It captures the buzz, the laborious rehearsals, the fact that the models don’t just turn up looking that way and the real stars of the show – the makeup artists and hairdressers.
