I’m addicted to Diet Coke in a ‘lunchtimes not complete without one’ kind of way. Sometimes I can go through a fair bit in a week without even realising, so I have to have a little detox and hide the cans away from my hands. When I heard that Diet Coke were teaming up with one of my fave makeup brands I jiggled up and down in excitement. They’ve partnered with Benefit to create three new looks for their famous puppets – romantic, fashionista and rock chick – that use their infamous lip and cheek stains. Each one uses the basis of either Benetint, Posie Tint or Cha Cha Tint, each look being reflected in the lip colours that appear on the cans themselves. Nifty!
The whole idea behind the collaboration is that when you buy a can of Diet Coke you get a £5 voucher to use at Benefit, treating yourself to a new look in the process. Whether you want to go for a romantic natural look using Posie Tint, a rockier edge using Cha Cha Tint or a classic fashion look using Benetint, you can do so with a little bit of a discount. I love the puppets from the advert and this is such a cute idea to give them a makeover of their own!
The cans are already available, so you can already grab yourself the collection to enjoy. You do have to use the discount online to take advantage of it rather than in the Benefit boutiques, but there’s no reason why you can’t still enjoy the experience at a counter, have a makeover and then purchase the products you’ve fallen in love with at home. The only catch it that you have to spend £20 to get your discount, but with pay day fast approaching there’s no better excuse than to splash out on a new look.
