To me Louise Redknapp will always be the girl who sung “you make me feel naked” on Top of The Pops in front of my Nan, but she’s actually grown up a little bit since then. After marrying a footballer, popping out a few kids and presenting some foodie programme on the BBC at weekends, she’s decided to do something a little bit more exciting and become the face (or hair) of Schwarzkopf. There are two exciting things about this: 1. We get to see more of Louise’s beautiful face without having to watch that awful Thompson holiday advert. 2. We get to see less of those dodgy European matchy-matchy hair ads that currently champion Schwarzkopf! Double win.

I’m pretty chuffed that they’ve actually gone for a British spokesperson, as well as choosing someone that’s actually ‘real’ and could be your mate. I’ve no idea if she’s going to be appearing in the advertising any time soon, but I really do hope so. What do you think of their new spokesperson?
