Christmas Shopping at Bicester Village

Tis the season to go shopping. Fa la la la la, la la la la. I love this time of year so I can indulge in my love of purchasing things I don’t need, without the guilt of finding somewhere to store them. I love wrapping up warm, enjoying a warm coffee and heading out to the busy streets of London to fill my arms with gifts. This festive season if you need some inspiration for fabulous goodies without the hefty price tag why not visit Bicester Village? My home town isn’t that far away from Biscester so in my teenage years it became a ‘go to’ destination for prom outfits, designer jeans and gifts for the boyfriend. It’s still the same today, with my Facebook timeline now full of people taking a trip up there to purchase outfits for the many Christmas parties and to seek out gifts for loved ones.

The village hosts designer outlet stores including Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Radley, Coast, Hugo Boss… I could go on and on. Everything there is discounted from the usual retail price, meaning you can bag a designer bargain for up to 60% off. Whoop. Spending a day in the village is the perfect way to have fun with your girlie mates, browsing from shop to shop and stopping in between for a scrummy mince pie. (You only get one month a year, so you may as well eat as many as physically possible while you can!) Right now Bicester Village also have a special event taking place on their Facebook page; Festive Secrets is a cute app which allows you to win anything from a £100 gift card to a trip to Warwick Castle and fabulous designer gifts. All you have to do is click on the reindeer and find out what you’re eligible to win – simples.

What have you got planned for Christmas shopping this year?

Someone was just telling me yesterday that they have a UGG outlet store there – I really want some UGGs but I'm a bit tight so might be worth a visit!

It's good if you desperately need the designer label but don't expect rock bottom bargains. Last seasons stuff will be reduced but you're still looking at high prices overall. Plus, expect to queue for some stores (e.g. Uggs) and the car park if you go on a Saturday. Saying all of that, it's still a good shopping day out so enjoy!!!
