It’s all a blur

It’s not often a product launches that’s literally declared ‘magic’ by all and sundry. Nanoblur has been praised in exactly that way, claiming to make you look ten years younger in 40 seconds. Wowzer. This skincare formulation was originally developed for celebrities suffering from ‘HD syndrome,’ whereby they didn’t quite like the flaws they were seeing in themselves as technology progressed and cameras started to pick up every wrinkle and pore. This soon transferred into the mass market and has now launched on UK shores, filling up the shelves of Boots.

There’s probably no better way to explain it than this: “Nanoblur is not skincare. It is quite simply tomorrow’s high technology, today. It is not a cream. It is a suspension of millions and millions of particles that refl ect light perfectly in billions of directions to make the skin’s surface appear completely flawless. Within seconds, pores appear to disappear. Fine lines appear to vanish. The skin texture appears nearly perfect. With one application on any skin surface (even on your hands), you will be convinced that Nanoblur will make you look up to 10 years younger in a matter of seconds. It’s just that simple.”

You apply this as a last step in your routine, over foundation or alone on the skin with a dash of powder. It can’t be worn under makeup as it’s the light reflecting off the particles which helps it to work. I have to admit I was totally sceptical and didn’t hold out much hope of seeing a difference after listening to the Canadian drawls at the launch. How could one little blob of formula eliminate all those imperfections the beauty industry has been working on since time began? Well it bloody does!

You can tell from these pictures that even on my hand it makes a huge difference. It fills in the gaps and reflects the light to drastically reduce the appearance of lines. Obviously I don’t have skin old enough to truly use this properly on my face, but the testimonials from others have convinced me that this works. Putting it over the top of makeup may be a bit of a challenge, but if you’re really concerned about achieving a flawless complexion in less than a minute, then this may be the answer you’re looking for. Better still, this comes in at than less than twenty quid… Cue the stampede.
