Whether or not your GBFs (gay best friends) are uber stylish naturally or you just want to know how to dress your boyfriend, The Chic Geek is a destination to solve every fashion dilemma. The blog has a cult following with men and women alike, but now this has transgressed to a new platform… The Chic Geek has gone old school and is releasing a book!
The creator and creative director of the website and book, Marcus Jaye has this to say about his new creation:
“The idea is to empower guys with the knowledge and eye to make the best of themselves. TheChicGeek is all about showing guys how to be the best of their type, style isn’t a competition, it’s about knowing what suits you and judging and developing your confidence. Inside every stylish man is a ChicGeek, the book is about making him appear in most guys. Being stylish actually takes some work and the book will simplify this, point guys in the right direction and make it feel not so overwhelming. The idea was to make it really fun, informative, non-patronising and inclusive and as I say in the book, “Don’t stress, have fun. None of this is really life-saving stuff”
There are loads of examples of stylish guys as diverse as Edward VII, Jarvis Cocker and Sherlock Holmes, pictures of male street style from the world’s top fashion capitals, tips of what is cool right now, pieces on future men’s vintage, and how to look after you and your wardrobe. Basically everything!”
I don’t know about you, but I’m rushing out to grab a copy for every man in my life… they can think of it as a super early Christmas present. The book is available from 17th August on Play.com, Amazon and through Waterstones priced at £16.99.
