Well ladies and gentleman, LBQ has become MBQ for the weekend… That’s Marbella Beauty Queen. I’ve trotted off to Sunny Spain with Bare Escentuals and EasyJet to celebrate their summer collaboration and ‘make-up in the sky’ promotion, where the two brands have linked up to offer special treats to ladies holidaying this summer. On selected Easy Jet flights to Spain (Tenerife in particular) there will be Bare Minerals make-up artists on board to refreshen and rejuvinate tired, plane-dehydrated skin, turning you into fabulous bronze goddesses before you’ve even touched down on foreign soil. I was lucky enough to experience this yesterday on the flight over and it’s just what I needed. All the trauma and stress of getting to the airport super early and organised doesn’t lend itself to applying your makeup flawlessly – with this service you don’t have to worry, as the talented experts do all the hard work for you!
I have got some pictures to share with you post-holiday, but you’ll have do do with a gratuatous shot of the beautiful pool and view from our balcony window, as well as some of the products we’ve been testing. Bare Minerals starter kits are now also available to buy on Easy Jet flights priced at £38 (a huge saving from the normal RRP of around £48-62) so you can even take a part of the luxury away with you to keep you going all weekend. What I love about the Bare Minerals products is that they’re light enough to use while on holiday, not sweating your skin or running, but still providing a flawless finish and even SPF15 so you don’t burn your little noses.
We’ve got lots of new products to learn about over the weekend, plus some old ones to test, so stay tuned for updates of all the escapades the Bare Minerals team and I are getting up to. We’ve been spoiled rotten so far, but now we’re off to the beach to attempt to get a tan… armed with our Bare Minerals SPF of course!
