Save your skin

The only way is fake tan, according to the people over at Fake Bake, and I have to say I agree. Skin cancer is a massive issue and we all need to be aware of how easy it is to burn and damage our skin without realising. Fake Bake launched their ‘Save Your Skin’ campaign and in January took over 12,000 signatures to Downing Street to change the law and ban sunbeds for under 18s. They’ve made such a difference in the industry that they celebrated with a national ‘Save Your Skin’ day on April 28th, supported by no other than Sam from The Only Way is Essex – or TOWIE if you’re down with the kids and the vajazzles. I’m a huge believer in faking it (but only in certain ways ladies) and Fake Bake was one of the first brands I ever dabbled with. It’s great to see a brand really trying to make a difference and educating the public.

You can find out more about the campaign, how to stay safe and how to get involved on their website.
