Burst of colour

I love a bit of lipgloss and am never found with less than two in my bag at any one time. One of the first ‘posh’ lipglosses I purchased for myself when I was a teenager was by Revlon, so that clear, square bottle will always hold a lot of memories for me. They’ve just launched a new range of lipglosses which stay true to that iconic bottle shape, but they’ve stepped it up a peg with new Colourburst Lip Colour – there’s more pigment than you could shake a stick at. These deliciously scented lipglosses are not only super smooth, shiny and a melting pleasure to wear, but they also contain a really heavy colour for your lips. These are perfect for ladies who love a bright shade but are a little bit scared of lipsticks or feel they’re just not part of their look.

I’ve been trying these all weekend and I adore them. They contain hints of shimmer and lots of colour, plus the ‘lip shaped’ applicator makes it easy to pick up a lot of product and swipe across your lips for a pout to rival Jessica Alba. They’re not particularly long lasting but the instant effect is extremely satisfying as you’ve got glamour without the fuss… although with the darker colours I’d advise a mirror to apply or you could end up looking a bit of a mess as the applicator isn’t that precise! With the Chanel-esque design to the lid these remind me of that feeling I got when I first picked up a Revlon gloss well over ten years ago. And it feels good.

I also love these glosses! I find that the lighter shades really don't have a whole lot of pigmentation, but the darker shades are pretty amazing! I hope Revlon will come out with something a bit more long-lasting in the future. =)xxobsessionstolivefor.blogspot.com

These really are a cute little buy. The lighter shades aren't very pigmented, but the darker ones are amazing. Grab them!

Ooh I like the look of these, the top 3 colours are beautiful. I'm glad resisted buying the lipsticks as I'm more of a lipgloss girl and these have the same Chanel-esque packaging I think a trip to Boots is in order! x
