Facelift in a tube

I was sent a tube Rodial Glamtox facemask to prepare myself for the Rodial Beautiful awards a while ago, but because I was so busy faffing around in the days before the event I didn’t have a chance to actually use it. I did get round to it more recently though and wished I had taken the time to slap it on before as it’s flipping amazing! It’s a really bog-standard looking face mask in a silver spangly tube, but when you actually apply it to your face you realise there’s something very special about this…

“Containing revolutionary ingredients such as LaraCare™, which firms, lifts and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and Argirline which works to reduce stress in the skin and to relax contracted muscles, glamtox peel will have an immediate effect on the face. Also featuring Fruit Acids to help refine the complexion, even skintone and soften fine lines, this clay mask will illuminate and brighten, even after the first use.”

The mask claims to help reverse the signs of ageing in only ten minutes – basically how long you leave it on your face for. There’s nothing special or spectacular to notice when you apply the clay-based mask to start with as it applies easily, is a light grey colour and feels quite light on the skin. When it dries is doesn’t dry out to leave you with a shocked and pained look on on your face, and it’s not uncomfortable like some masks.

It took me a while to notice, but when you wash it off your face is so plumped up and fresh looking it’s incredible. My face felt tighter (but not in a scary, dry way) and my skin smoother, the smallest imperfections and lines being almost erased. I have pretty clear skin and I thought the result was fantastic, so I can only imagine what the results would be like if I was a lady of a certain age… It felt like I’d had a facial and been injected with botox or something! The results lasted for about twelve hours too, my face feeling plump and refreshed well into the next day. This is a perfect product to use if you’ve got a special event or need to give your complexion a kick up the butt – at £72 a tube it’s flipping expensive, but I’ve never experienced a face mask like it. You only need a small blob so a little goes a long way and you’ll get your money’s worth. I’m quite flabbergasted. (Me, dramatic?!)

Sounds like the business! Just wondering what I should pawn to get me a tube.

Wow sounds like the perfect Mother's Day gift (that I would definitely steal) but still £72, ouch! x x x

I know, £72 is a lorra money – although they do a deal on their website where you can get two tubes for £105 (I think) so there's a hefty saving there. One for you and one for your mum?!
