Skin Tonic

I’ve been raving about Liz Earle for a while now and I have to say it’s my best brand discovery of the year so far. They seem to make fab products that smell great, don’t irritate my skin and still do the job better than most. I’ve been using their Instant Boost Skin Tonic for a few weeks now and I’m loving this as much as Cleanse and Polish. It smells divine (it’s all about the pong) without smelling ‘false’ – it smells and feels like water mixes with a few scented bits of loveliness, and this is basically what it is… “This heavenly floral-scented, non-drying toner refreshes, soothes and brightens your skin. Gentle and alcohol-free, it also adds a fine layer of moisture. Naturally active ingredients include organic aloe vera to revitalise and soften and calendula, chamomile, cucumber and natural source vitamin E to soothe and refresh the skin. Pure essential oils of rose-scented geranium, lavender and sweet orange refresh and revive your spirits.”

I religiously cleanse, tone and moisturise my skin every night (and sometimes morning) and this can make my face a bit tight and slightly dry. Even after I’ve used my Dior cleanser (which I adore) my skin can sometimes feel as processed as a piece of McDonalds cheese. When I use this I instantly feel a bit fresher, cooler and not as tight. I can’t say that I’ve noticed a dramatic improvement in my skin or anything, and even if I did I use a bazillion products, but it’s a pleasure to use. I even use it in the morning after I’ve washed my face in the shower to get that super clean and fresh feeling, but also to loosen my face… this is starting to sound a bit dodgy. I also love the twisty top, which means you don’t pour loads of product out, and even the simplicity of the square bottle. I’ll be sad when this runs out.

My sister who I blog with loves Liz Earle at the moment, says she really notices a difference in her skin! I've not tried any yet but I'm having some next well! But this skin tonic sounds like what I've been hunting for, so thank you for review and heads up
