Jergens – Not made by Germans

One statement piece in your beauty wardrobe should always be a really good, hydrating and deliciously smelling moisturiser. I slap this stuff on religiously before bed every night because I’m a delicate soul and my skin needs a lot of care and attention. I’ve tried everything going, from poundland buys to super expensive luxuries and I love, love, love this stuff from Jergen’s Naturals. Now, for some reason I was utterly convinced that Jergens was German – in my had it was probably because it sounds vaguely similar – but it is in fact a brand from the U S of A and ‘loved all over the globe’. What I didn’t realise when I started using this was that all of their products contain a minimum of 95% natural ingredients and include goodies such as jojoba oil, avocado and olive oil. Normally when you get a product that claims to be natural it skimps on efficacy, but with this you get the best of both worlds.

I’ve got the Ultra Hydrating version and they do sell it up somewhat: “Made with 96% natural ingredients and a real hero in combating dry skin, doubling skin hydration instantly. This moisturiser softens and quenches skin with a blend of authentic desert botanicals and essential hydrators, restoring skin to a state of pure comfort and natural well being.” It all sounds a bit posh, but all you need to know is this… it smells fab, feels great, isn’t sticky or oily and sinks into the skin pretty quickly, leaving no horrible residue. For something that’s so cheap and cheerful you really get a fab product that performs. What I like the most though is the fact that when I apply it to my limbs and wack on my PJs, I don’t get stuck to the material… bonus. I heard a lot of good stuff about these moisturisers and they definitely live up to all the hype.

I've been meaning to try this for ages, I know Lauren Conrad's a huge fan. Definitely gonna give it a shot once I get through my industrial sized Palmer's!
