Making a list… Checking it twice

It’s October which means it’s nearly Christmas time! Screw Halloween, forget about Bonfire Night, wipe Thanksgiving from your mind (if you’re from the US of A) because Christmas seems to be everywhere you look already. I got to see a preview of the festive offerings from one of everyone’s favourite online retailers, the Queen Bee of guilty purchases, ASOS. They’ve already launched their Christmas range so you can stock up on gifts, or just a few bits and bobs for yourself. There are so many exclusives, limited editions and general fabulous pressies that you’ll be spoilt for choice.

I loved this set from Paul & Jo… the floral silk case is luxurious and perfect for popping in your bag. The case comes with a selection of ‘disposable eyeshadows’ which are mounted on little plastic packs with a film lid so you can close them and use it again. The colours are fab – purples, bronze, everything you need for the festive season. It also includes a floral lipgloss which is actually formed in the shape of a flower.

Cath Kidston has expanded her collection with this cute body range, which includes body lotions, soap and hand balm all in the traditional floral design. The scent is rich and floral, as would be expected, so it may not be for everyone but they sure look cute. I’ve tried the lotion and it’s thick, well scented and absorbs into the skin easily – not the best moisturiser I’ve ever tried but perfectly sized to take away on dirty weekends!

Illamasqua have also launched these absolutely amazing lashes which will inevitably ensure you’re the one who stands out at you Christmas party. They’re adorned with little crystals (I wonder how heavy they are!) and extra long lashes for added impact – as you would expect for £25 a pop! I want/need/must have now/desire these lashes.

Another fab product ASOS have is the ‘sticky nails’ from Nail Rock. If you didn’t see my full review of these great designs and cute product then take a trip here for the full hog. They’re so cute and different, plus a £6.00 for a pack of 24 nails it’s a cheap way to update your look and be perfectly on-trend in one easy step.

So what are you waiting for? Off you trot to ASOS and start making a list. And check it twice.

I'd love to actually see those lashes on someone to see if they push the line of ridiculous too far, because otherwise I'm loving them! So cool! Thanks for the post!

I really wanted to try the lashes but they didn't have any. I've seen lots of similar ones around so I expect when they're on they look subtler than expected! x
