Latest In Beauty Launches The 'Glamour Beauty Power List 2014'

If there's one beauty box I always get excited about, it's the Glamour edits of Latest In Beauty - they simply never disappoint. Always including a selection of products handpicked by Glamour's Beauty Editor for their performance and must-have appeal, there's a combination of high street and premium that no other box can compete with. This latest collaboration is no exception, providing seven products that even I'm excited to try - which is no mean feat. For £15.99 you can grab this little box of goodies for yourself, which even includes a free subscription to the iPad or iPhone edition to Glamour Magazine for a whole year (which alone is worth £15.99.) Here's my lowdown of what Glamour's 'Power List' includes this Autumn and why you need them all...

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
The first cleansing product that really taught me how to wash my face, this needs no introduction. The creamy formula is award-winning and cult-like, providing a super clean finish without stripping skin. There's even a muslin cloth included to ensure you buff away dead skin cells and leave your complexion glowing.

Eyeko Eye Makeup Remover Wipes
Although I'm never a fan of wipes (if it's too easy it's not working properly,) preferring to use a bi-phase makeup remover to ensure every trace of mascara has vanished, this handy pack is great for weekends away or hand-luggage. There's no faffing and the formula has been designed to specifically remove Eyeko mascaras.

Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence
Described as an 'everyday Elasticizer', this is a daily-use spray designed to help protect against heat and environmental damage. To be honest I've never understood the hype behind this brand, but it's a handy product to have and a good introduction into the range.

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer
A great primer is a makeup essential and this gel base really helps to fix your foundation and create a flawless finish. If you're not familiar with the benefits primers can bring, then this is a luxurious way to get started and start integrating one into your routine - plus it's worth £18.50!

James Read Sleep Mask Tan
Tan your face while you sleep and wake up with a subtle golden glow? Genius. I've tried a few James Read products and they're always pleasant to use, injecting goodness into skin whilst simultaneously adding a natural tint to skin. There's no orange tide marks to be seen.

Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume Mascara

Their newest mascara launch, this includes a unique brush with spherical bristles to help wrap individual lashes and ensure some serious volume. It also contains straight bristles to create a clump-free finish, giving you the best of both worlds.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick
The 'Stripped Nudes' collection is right on trend for Autumn, providing a wearable everyday look that complements a dark smokey eye. These lipsticks include precious oils to provide a smooth application and  feel comfortable on the skin when re-applied. Although the case isn't the most practical, these are great budget buys that are a fab addition to your colour repertoire.

Grab the box while it's still available for only £15.99 - an incredible price for so many (full size) products, and even a magazine subscription thrown in for good measure. What do you think of the latest beauty box collaboration?

The 'Glamour Beauty Power List 2014' is available online while stocks last, priced £15.99.

  1. Anonymous16.9.14

This does seem like a really great value for money beauty box! I haven't taken the plunge yet but with each post I see on this, I am pushed closer and closer to the edge - I think I may have to just buy it and be done with it :) xx

  2. I’m so tempted, but I can’t! Trying to be good this month, but something is telling me this box is not one to miss!

  3. Looks amazing! I'm getting more and more annoyed with Glossybox's tiny product samples so full-size products would be such a nice change!

  4. You convinced me- I just bought i!.... In an ideal world it would contain more make up samples, but it's pretty great anyway although I wonder how much benefit they get from including the Liz Earle cleanse and polish- I feel like everyone must have already tried it.

  5. I saw another blog post on this a little while ago and ordered it on the spot! It's coming tomorrow and I'm even more excited now. I would never subscribe to those monthly beauty boxes that seemed to be a thing for a while but this one looks great and excellent value considering I wanted to try the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer and the whole thing costs less that that alone.

  6. Trying to be good too. Saving for Xmas shopping with my bestie In London. Love James read sleep mask & Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer. XX

  7. This all looks amazing. So many products in there I want to try. Such great value for money.

  8. This box is such good value!

  9. I like the look of stripped nudes, I'll definitely be checking them out.

I always intend to buy a nude lipstick, but when they're all just mixed in with more interesting colours, I get distracted. And I just find nudes so boring, that I convince myself that a pinky-purple-dusky-rose is totally a nude, even though no human has lips that colour naturally and then I feel self-conscious wearing it to work.

  10. Love that Maybelline lipstick!

  11. Trying so hard to resist as I have a gigantic stash that needs using.

Unless I buy it for the Subscription and the box is free? Then it's spending on magazines which I am not on a self imposed ban for :)
